Clark County Green Business has strong representation in downtown Vancouver, with nearly 20 downtown businesses certified to date. Among the most recent to get on board is the Vancouver branch of BergerABAM, a consulting firm with locations in Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada and Texas.

BergerABAM offers sustainable planning and design services throughout diverse sectors of development, and they integrate sustainability throughout all their projects. They use life-cycle cost analyses, climate impact assessments, waste reduction designs, resource conservation tools and more to reduce the impact of development.

In the Vancouver office they use durable dishes, recycled content paper, and energy efficient office equipment and lighting systems. Employees are rewarded for using alternative transportation to get to and from work, and the cyclists are provided with shower facilities. To encourage wellness across the board, BergerABAM has a gym for employees to use throughout the work week.
