Vance Family Soy Candles makes and sells sustainable, GMO-free, soy candles in American-made containers. They have been a certified Green Business since 2012. Owner Amy Vance was inspired to create naturally scented candles because of her own struggles with asthma, which is triggered by synthetic fragrances.
Amy is committed to prioritizing health, sustainable practices and local sourcing during candle production. Many candles on the market are petroleum-based, using paraffin wax, but not Amy's. There are no plastics, toxic dyes, synthetic fragrances or petroleum products within the candles. Vance Family Soy Candles produces only soy-based candles, resulting in a healthier environment and indoor air quality.
Every detail of production is mindfully considered. The candles contain pure essential oils and organic oils. The wicks are slow-burning cotton and paper. The glass containers are made in the United States from recycled materials. A Vancouver artist designed the labels which are made from recycled, unbleached paper. Recently, Vance Family Soy Candles has even begun transporting all their deliveries by electric vehicle.
Amy not only values the sustainable commitments of her business, but also the community, saying "I believe in making a positive impact on those around me and helping others whenever needed." At least 10% of Vance Family Soy Candles' profits are donated to those in need. Products are also donated to help nonprofits raise funds.
Amy is thankful for the loyal customers who have supported Vance Family Soy Candles throughout the years and during the pandemic. We would like to thank Vance Family Soy Candles for their commitment to sustainable practices!
